    Description

As they feed, Red Wigglers swallow great quantities of organic material, digest it, extract its food and expel the residue as worm castings which are very rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and many micronutrients. Under ideal conditions, composting worms can eat their body weight each day. They also reproduce rapidly, and are very tolerant of variations in growing conditions.
Item quantities and package weight are a close approximate and the composting worms will arrive in various stages of growth. During summer and winter months worm shipments may be delayed due to extreme temperatures. We will ship when conditions permit.
    DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
To release, lightly water the target area and scatter about. Use 1,000 worms — roughly 1 pound — for areas up to 250 square feet, 100 or more per square foot in compost piles. Do
    NOT
release in direct sunlight, early morning or after sunset is best. Instructions for care and release are provided with each order.
We guarantee live, timely delivery of our shipments. However, to ensure live delivery, it is important that you receive your order when it arrives.
We will NOT be responsible for “live shipments” left unattended at your doorstep.
Please make arrangements to have them picked up by a neighbor or delivered to a work address if you will not be home during the day. IF YOUR WORMS OR PACKAGE ARE DAMAGED IN ANY WAY, PLEASE SEND US A PHOTO OF THE DAMAGE AND WE WILL SEND A RESHIPMENT AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO YOU.
*Your Worm order may contain several different compost worm species.(Eisenia fetida, eisenia hortensis,Perionyx excavatus). Not to worry!  Diversity in worm species is superior because they work all layers of the compost not just the top few inches. Giving you a better compost faster. This also gives an advantage in that as conditions change certain species will multiply as conditions become unfavorable for another keeping you with a constantly healthy composter
*Your worms will come in a variety of sizes since they are in various stages of growth.
