    Description

I lived in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco for over a decade.  The Huicholes, a tribe from the Sierra Madre Mountains, create elaborate designs by pressing tiny beads into wax.  The Huicholes are extremely connected to nature/ spirit.  They consume plant medicines to connect with spirit, animals, trees.  Often times these connections appear in their artwork.  I purchased these pieces after a night-long ceremony with people in meditation around a central fire.
