    Acquired from a private collection out of Arizona. Originally collected 15-20 years ago in Puerto Vallarta.

    The Huichol live in the northern part of the states of Nayarit and Jalisco and in the southern parts of Durango and Zacatecas, Mexico. The beaded art is a wooden form covered with
    beeswax, and then one by one, the beads are picked up by a long needle and placed in the wax.
