Huichol Beaded Earrings Mexican Ethnic Handmade Calla Lily Flower Folk ArtAuthentic Mexican
Huichol
Indian folk art is truly unique and all handmade by the indigenous Indian people of the Sierra Madre mountains in Jalisco, Mexico. Beautiful, blue and yellow calla lily, beaded art flower earrings. These earrings are 100% authentic Huichol art earrings.
Using the traditional Huichol techniques, glass beads are individually strung, one by one, into beautiful 3 strand earrings. The calla lily was made famous by the Mexican painter, Diego Rivera. The calla lily symbolizes purity and faithfulness.
The trumpet on these earrings is graduated colors of dark green to adobe to red to orange to dark yellow to bright yellow. The spadix in the center is adobe color. Each strand has a medium green glass beaded stem and tiny dark green beaded leaves. The third strand is a newly budded calla lily in the same colors. At the top, a larger black pearl color bead brings the strands together at the ear hook. So pretty, summer style and perfect for the bohemian look that we all know and love.
