Handmade by a Mexican Huichol Indian from the Sierra Mountains in Jalisco, Mexico.  The Huichol are an indigenous Mexican Indian tribe that originally relied on symbols for their written language.  Their culture and people, rich in ceremony and spirituality, create beautiful beaded art items.  This necklace is 100% authentic Huichol.  Each one of their beaded necklaces take hours and days of work.  One by one, glass beads were added to create this gorgeous choker.
Details:
Adjustable length, choker necklace.  Bib style, with gorgeous AB (Aurora Borealis) Chaquira glass beads.  This necklace shimmers with colors of black, green, blue and gold colors.  The inner edge has strands of AB greens followed by two mixed rows of AB greens and AB black.  A delicate criss cross pattern ends in floral tips symbolizing the Shaman's peyote flowers for religious ceremonies.
We love the integration of the God's Eye protection symbol that is evident in the bib with sparkly dangles to complete this beautiful necklace.  Even the clasp is unique with a beaded barrel style and 4 adjustable loops for different lengths.
