Huichol Art Beaded Earrings Mexican Ethnic Handmade Chaquira Peacock Folk ArtHuichol Mexican Indian folk art is truly unique and all handmade by the indigenous people of the Sierra Madre mountains in Jalisco, Mexico. 100% authentic Huichol, gorgeous, bright colored glass beaded dangle earrings. Handmade by a native Huichol Mexican Indian in Mexico. The peacock feather is used in Huichol rituals and ceremonies for purity.
These earrings are awesome.
Not the typical 9 strand Huichol earrings. These earrings have 13 strands of gorgeous, sparkly graduated length dangles. All handmade with glass beads.
Using the traditional Huichol techniques, glass beads (chaquira) are individually strung into chandelier dangles.
Integrated peacock bird with metallic lavender/pink/metallic aqua body, red eyes, lavender pearl and black plume all on a clear metallic silver background. The larger light blue faceted beads and aurora borealis twist tube beads add real sparkle.
We love how the artist created a triangular top and added 13 dangles for the tail feathers.
