Vintage Round Sunglasses France Pearly White 1950s 1960s VTG 50s 60s
Super! 1950s 1960s pearly white French sunglasses. These were part of a group of vintage wedding items dating from 1920-1960. I am guessing they were the brides worn on or around her big day and perhaps honeymoon as they do not appear to have wear consistent with regular use. Green tint, non Rx lenses. The frame is some type of clear plastic, possibly acetate, painted white with a pearly like finish.
Measurements - Approximate
150mm from frame end to frame end across the front center
130mm total length of temples
10mm bridge at center of lens
30mm bridge at bottom of lens
30mm from bottom of bridge to bottom of frame at front
Lenses measure about 50mm across and 45mm down
Condition
- Please take a moment to closely look over photos. Non-prescription lenses appear to be in great condition with a few light scratches but nothing major or deep. Frame has crazing and slight yellowing to the temple pieces, although I'm not sure if it is light reflection. I have cleaned these very carefully but you may want to polish them upon arrival.
