    Description

    I have here a One of a Kind 4" Golden Test Silicon Wafer that has been partially dissolved.  The dissolved area turned into a golden blob most likely from the golden ICs turning into a puddle, but it's possible there was some gold adding to the dissolving liquid, but unlikely as other dissolved spots are different.
    Dissolved wafers are EXTREMELY rare and I have only seen a few like this, and they are in my collection.  Here is a chance for a serious wafer collector to get their hands on something that is One of a Kind to add to their collection!;
    Besides the dissolved nature of the wafer, it is Extremely Golden, EVERYTHING IS GOLD!
    I do not know the history or information of this wafer, and i couldn't find any information regarding date or company on this wafer, or any of the other 2" or 4" wafers from this lot I purchased.  I had purchased this lot of 2" and 4" wafers, as well as a number of 2" and 4" solo flouroware and 25 wafer carriers :(as well as some tiny wafer container smaller than an inch) from the same seller from an area near Silicon Valley.  When asked about what this company is, The Seller was quick to say he didn't know who the company was and didn't want to talk about it, but It's hard to believe that a person who runs a company that cleans out estates and businesses couldn't find any information, or know who they were dealing with...  Especially since he could specifically tell me these were "Test Wafers." It is just very odd to me, especially with how vague he was.  Every other person I purchased from had some sort of story or at least could give me some information, whether it was someone who they purchased it randomly from someone else, or an estate sale that happened to have wafers where the estate cleaner had info on the estate owner.  Knowing they are Test Wafers, but not knowing the Company, is odd to me.
    UPDATE:  I had looked into the wafers via the scope and spoke to some knowledgeable collectors, and it does seem that these could in fact be Test Wafers, because I see the; word "RFNAND" on many of the wafers, which is indication of some sort of RF(Radio Frequency) NAND Gate.  I believe I've also seen "NOR" as well on these wafers.  More investication is needed.  There are also some random numbers such as "N280" and such.  :EndUpdate
    With the amount of gold/silver on these wafers, as well as some wafers being semi-transparent, these wafers are surely unique and possibly from some big company that doesn't want their name out there.  I could be wrong on this, but these are incredible wafers.
    One of my buyers who purchased some other items from me mentioned that transparent ics were something Bell Labs did, but this came from California, which I didn't see anything about Bell Labs haven't a lab out there, but it's possible.
    Note:  This wafer is not exactly 4" (I assume they are all like this), which is also interesting, because Bell Labs and IBM sometimes had abnormal sizes for their wafers that weren't "Exact" inches.
    Will Include Free 4" Case with purchase!

    If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
    I will be listing many unique, rare, one-of-a-kind, vintage CPU, Computer Chips, Silicon Wafers, and other parts in the following weeks, so if there is any interest or inquiry into something I might have, please don't hesitate to ask!
    Thank you for your time with viewing my listing, I appreciate it. I hope you have a great day!
    NOTE:  Handling time is set to 10 days because I normally end up having buyers who want more than 1 item, so a few days can go by before the full transaction is completed; however, the handling time set for each item has to be obeyed or else penalties happen to me, so I set the handling time to a time that shouldn't cause problems.  I have been recently notified(10/24/22) that some buyers are concerned about the long handling times so I want to make everyone completely aware of the situation.
    After THE FULL Transaction is complete(the buyer is done choosing listings to purchase, and ready for shipment), I normally try to ship the day of completion or the next day(depending if transaction completion happens early enough in the day and on a weekday), but 2-3 regular days(not business days) would be the maximum handling time.  I do not want buyers to have to wait for their product after purchase, I just want to make sure buyers have selected everything they want to purchase, before I ship, as most of my buyers thus far have wanted more than 1 item, while at the same time make sure I do not get penalized, because even if a buyer is okay with waiting, I have to obey the times set by the site.  Thank you for your understanding, and thank you for your time with viewing my listing, I really appreciate it.  If you have any questions at all about this issue, or anything else I can answer for you / help-you-with, please do not hesitate to ask.  I am here to make the Buyer's experience completely satisfactory, so let me know if there is anything I can do for you!  I hope you have a fantastic day!
