    PEACETIME USES OF ATOMIC ENERGY
(NY, 1961) Revised Edition, first published in 1957. Original cloth binding in pictorial Dust Jacket.  191pp. Illustrated with photographs and drawings.
Review Copy with publisher’s presentation slip tipped in.
A comprehensive (and optimistic) forecast of all the possible uses of “peacetime” atomic energy.  This later edition included a section on the potential for nuclear rockets in space travel – without specific mention of the joint NASA/Atomic Energy Commission’s Project Rover. The book became something of a classic, being revised and reprinted as late as 1975.
