Nothing like the beauty of solid wood with a clear finish. These clipboards have 3 coats of polyurethane. I hand sand each coat to produce a nice hard smooth durable writing surface and a easy-to-clean surface. ( Hand wash only ) These clipboards are not made from plywood, hard board or wood veneer.
