As these natural composters feed, Red Wigglers (Eisenia foetida) swallow great quantities of organic material, digest it, extract its food value and expel the residue as worm castings which are very rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and many micronutrients.
Under ideal conditions, E. foetida can eat their body weight each day. They also reproduce rapidly, and are very tolerant of variations in growing conditions.
Item quantities are a close approximate and will arrive in various stages of growth. During summer and winter months worm shipments may be delayed due to extreme temperatures. We will ship when conditions permit. If your order does not arrive with live worms, all you need to do is send us a photo and we will reship you a new order at no cost to you.
